I was born in and grew up in Luton; I’ve lived here as a bachelor, as a couple, as a new dad and now a father of three. Throughout all those life stages, the town has offered us plenty of things to do: great restaurants, culture, child-friendly activities and all the amenities you could wish for.
It means everything to me to enjoy the brilliant countryside that surrounds Luton. I am part of a mountain biking club and within a five-minute ride from my home. I am in really beautiful location; it makes me feel really spoilt.
One of my favourite memories is taking my then 75-year-old mother to her first football match at Luton Town FC – the atmosphere was electric and she absolutely loved it! You’re never too old to enjoy football, or any of the sporting clubs that call Luton their home.
My children went to preschool, primary school and secondary school in the town, and I am incredibly proud of them all. My son and eldest daughter have both recently graduated; my son from the University of Nottingham and my daughter from the University of Bedfordshire. Luton is home to the main campus of this university: one of the UK’s fastest growing universities.
We have such a rich mix of architecture in the town. There is something for everyone, whatever your taste is: a wide range of flats, older style terraces, new builds, family homes, as well as fine executive and country homes in town and the surrounding villages. Offering great value for money, considering our location and travel time to London, Luton has exactly the type of home you are looking for, whether you’re buying, renting or letting.
