Exceptional Service Through a Very Complex SaleI cannot recommend Giggs & Bell Estate Agents highly enough, particularly Derrick Bell and the team, for the professionalism, patience and support they showed throughout the sale of my property.My property went on the market in March 2026, and within just four days we had received an offer. What initially looked like it would be a straightforward sale unfortunately developed into a very complicated five month process, eventually completing in August 2026.The delays and complications were largely outside the estate agent's control and involved legal restrictions on the property, third party solicitors, arrangements concerning the sale proceeds and, importantly, my onward purchase. At times the situation became extremely stressful, particularly because my new home was dependent upon the successful completion of this sale.Throughout the entire process, Derrick Bell and the Giggs & Bell team remained patient, professional and remarkably understanding.What stood out most was their communication. Even when matters were being dealt with by solicitors and other third parties, they continued to keep me informed and remained engaged with the transaction. I never felt that I was simply being left to deal with everything myself.Derrick in particular was excellent. He took the time to understand the wider circumstances rather than simply viewing the transaction as another sale. He understood the pressure I was under with my onward purchase and the importance of keeping everyone focused on getting the transaction completed.There were numerous occasions when I was understandably frustrated by delays, but Derrick remained calm, professional and approachable throughout. He never made me feel that my concerns were an inconvenience, and he continued to communicate with me even when there was little he could personally do to resolve matters.I think it is important to acknowledge that not every delay was within Giggs & Bell's control. A significant part of the complexity involved legal matters and third parties. For me, the measure of a good estate agent is not whether everything goes perfectly, but how they respond when things don't go according to plan.On that measure, Giggs & Bell were exceptional.They remained involved, patient and professional throughout a five month journey, from putting the property on the market in March, securing an offer within four days, through all the subsequent complications, and finally achieving completion in August.Selling a home can be stressful enough without having complicated legal issues and an onward purchase hanging over you. Recently just purchased a house through Giggs and Bell, with Daniel dealing with the sale. I was a first time buyer and having had a couple of house purchases fall through, I was extremely impressed with how Giggs and Bell managed to make it as simple and stress free (as possible!). Daniel was friendly and attentive from the first viewing and kept in contact throughout the purchase. I appreciated the way Daniel was available through different types of communication (what’s app, email and phone) so any query was answered promptly. The team delivered on the target completion date and the recommended solicitors (Key Conveyancing) were also excellent throughout the process. I would recommend anybody to go to Giggs and Bell and would also recommend giving Daniel a call to help you with your move!

I hadn’t moved for over 10 years and had heard of some horror stories with estate agents with there bullish approach, hidden agendas and only interested in the money. Giggs and Bell erased those thoughts immediately from the initial appointment through to completion. When I decided to sell my flat I didn't hesitate to contact Derrick to help me find and secure a buyer, based on friends’ recommendations. He marketed the property very well, clearly highlighting the key features of the flat, and enhanced this with the selling points based on his knowledge of the area and what buyers would be looking for. I was kept well informed of the interest from buyers and the feedback from viewings, and was delighted when a buyer was soon found. It took longer than expected for me to find a new home in London, but Derrick kept the buyer aware of progress so that there was little risk of them removing their offer. Overall a very satisfied customer and I’d be happy to recommend Derrick to any friends or family buying or selling property in the area.

When I moved football club and needed to sell my flat I contacted Derrick. I knew Derrick had worked in the town for years and was familiar with the area. I bought my first house from Derrick in 1999 and always remember how he helped guide me through what seemed like a maze of forms and things to do; I was busy enough with my football career but it was good to have Derrick on hand to help me when needed.
